The AI “gold rush” is over. We have entered the era of accountability.

The End of Ethics on Paper: AI Needs Forensic Infrastructure, Not Philosophy

Corporate ethics committees have failed. When an algorithm makes a critical decision that violates the law, a set of "well-intentioned" guidelines has no legal standing.

Over the past three years, large corporations have tried to regulate artificial intelligence in the same way they used to manage corporate social responsibility: by setting up committees of experts, drafting manifestos, and publishing ethical guidelines on their websites.

It was a well-intentioned but futile effort. The speed at which a foundational model makes decisions makes traditional human oversight impossible. When AI operates at scale within a corporation, abstract ethics crumble in the face of technical complexity.

The European regulator has been unequivocal: the European Union will not audit intentions; it will audit traceability. If your company cannot cryptographically demonstrate which data generated an asset, who validated the algorithmic output, and what percentage of human intervention was involved, your system is vulnerable by default.

[ The Evidentiary Gap ]

From good intentions to mathematical certainty

We have reached a turning point. C-level executives have realized that the problem of algorithmic compliance cannot be solved by lawyers drafting new internal policies, but rather by engineers building new validation protocols.

While the world debates ethical theories, the industry needs technical realities. The deployment of AI in critical environments requires something that is in short supply today: technical and irrefutable evidence.
